Hello All. First some housekeeping. My lovely hubby has now integrated our newsletter into our Website, which should produce a few benefits. Namely more timely updates from me; more notice on events for you; better view-ability on mobile phones, etc.; and more efficient subscribing and such.
This first newsletter is more of a test; iron out the kinks and allow him to finish all the back-end coding. Exciting stuff! Right, now on to the news...

The Chieftains are coming to PA!

If you are a fan of Traditional Irish Music (or Trad), then you are probably just as excited as I am that the legendary Chieftains are coming to Pennsylvania. This amazingly talented group has been performing for well over 50 years! Although their early following was purely a folk audience, the range and variation of their music and accompanying musicians quickly captured a much broader audience, elevating their status to the likeness of fellow Irish band, U2.
Admittedly they have received some recognition through the years being the winner of no less than 6 Grammy Awards. In 2012, marking The Chieftains’ 50th Anniversary, they were awarded the inaugural National Concert Hall Lifetime Achievement Award at a gala event in Philadelphia hosted by The American Ireland Fund “in recognition of their tremendous contribution to the music industry worldwide and the promotion of the best of Irish culture.”

This three quarter length, Irish double zip knitted cardigan comes in five different colors. The hood and insert pockets make it practical, super cozy, and very wearable, a must have. The Celtic knot design on the zip puller is an attractive feature. The ladder stitching between the Irish cables signifies various stages of life. The various size and direction of the Irish cabling is very slimming for the wearer. A real autumn/winter warmer.

We usually keep the Dark Green in stock, and the other colors are available for special order.
