This is a beautifully handcrafted Triskele pendant. The inner Triskele is embossed with a continuous braid, with the background darkened to highlight the intricate detail of the design.
The Triskele is one of the most recognized Celtic symbols. Although it was a pagan symbol, it has survived into Christian times, probably because it could be said to represent the Holy Trinity (similar to the modern interpretation of the Trinity Knot).
