This captivating Claddagh Ring is adorned with a heart carved out of Connemara Marble. Connemara Marble is known as Ireland’s gemstone.
The band of this Claddagh is then further enhanced with a expertly crafted open-work woven design. Even if this Claddagh manages to turn a little on your finger, it still looks beautiful.
Dating to to about 600 AD, we photographed this Ogham stone in Kilmalkedar Church, on the Dingle peninsular, in Co. Kerry. on our last trip to Ireland. The ogham carving reads "ẠṆM MẠỊLE-INBIR/ MACI BROCANN" - "Name of Máel-Inbher son of Broccán"

"The owner was so pleasant. She was both helpful and informative but not in the least pushy. Very cute shop!"
