This is a really lovely Shamrock necklace, with an abalone (or Mother-of-Pearl) heart inserted in each leaf of the Shamrock. As you know Mother-of-Pearl can appear to change color, depending on the lighting, making it a really nice eye-catching piece.

Dating to to about 600 AD, we photographed this Ogham stone in Kilmalkedar Church, on the Dingle peninsular, in Co. Kerry. on our last trip to Ireland. The ogham carving reads "ẠṆM MẠỊLE-INBIR/ MACI BROCANN" - "Name of Máel-Inbher son of Broccán"
