Barrel shaped, fine bone china cup with original Irish Artwork. Delightfully adorned with the word Sláinte in the old Irish style of writing, and an adorable Irish couple toasting each other, incorporated into the “S”.

Many people interpret “Slainte” as “Cheers”, but it is actually a toast to Health, and does not necessarily have to be an alcoholic drink (despite the couple on the mug toasting with beer glasses).  Pronounce it "Slawn-cha" to sound like native Irish, and good health to you!

Design elements of this Mug are:

  • Artwork by Irish Artist Rachel Arbuckle
  • Designed in Ireland
  • Perfect for Tea, Hot Chocolate and other Hot Drinks
  • Dishwasher Safe
  • Microwave Safe
  • Inspired by the Book of Kells Manuscript
