I love these adorable Hedgehog Earrings.  Do you know what a Hedgehog is?  Growing up in Ireland this was (and still is) one of our most beloved wildlife animals.  The name comes from their traditional habitat, where they live under hedges.

They are a gardener’s friend, as their preferred diet, are all the garden pests!

A European Hedgehog is normally about 8” – 10” long. Their back and sides are covered in 1” long spines, with fur on the rest.  If threatened, they usually curl up in a ball, spines facing out.

Nowadays, with not so many garden hedges around, they have adapted to live in farmland, parks, woodland, cemeteries, railway land, and even in our cities!  All they need is food, shelter, and to have other hedgehogs around to socialize with!

Design features of these Hedgehog Earrings are:

  • Hedgehog Earrings are approx. 1” high (including bail) x 1” wide
  • Hand-crafted in the UK
  • Lead-free pewter
