This dramatic pewter Celtic Torc, featuring a serpent head and the head of a wild boar, was handcrafted in Cornwall. Animals were often incorporated into Celtic Knots (Zoomorphic Knots) when the animal possessed a trait that the Celts admired.
The serpent was considered immortal and regarded as a symbol of rebirth and wisdom, as it was reborn with each new skin.
The wild boar was considered a fierce warrior who defended itself to the death, being ferocious and courageous.
Torcs were worn both on the neck and arms of people of high status such as Chieftains or Warriors.

Dating to to about 600 AD, we photographed this Ogham stone in Kilmalkedar Church, on the Dingle peninsular, in Co. Kerry. on our last trip to Ireland. The ogham carving reads "ẠṆM MẠỊLE-INBIR/ MACI BROCANN" - "Name of Máel-Inbher son of Broccán"
"They had a stand at the Celtic Festival and all the other vendors were closing up because of the heat and leaving. This stand stayed open and was very pleasant to deal with. She couldn't of helped me out more! I highly recommend them and would like to visit their actual location."
