Rampant Lion Bottle Stopper

A magnificent rendition of the Rampant Lion is displayed on this hand-crafted bottle stopper. The “King of Beasts” symbolizes Strength, Courage, and Nobility, and is displayed on Scotland’s unofficial flag.

The image of the Red Lion, on a yellow background, is quite striking, and perhaps even more so, than the Official National Flag of Scotland, the blue and white Saltire.

I noticed many people confuse the Red Lion of the Scottish flag, with the Red Dragon of the Welsh flag. Both are flags with red creatures, with a raised claw, ready to strike, so I can see how that can happen. To help clear this up, the Rampant Lion is on a yellow background, and the Welsh Dragon is on a White and Green background.
