Irish Sausages are different from American sausages. They have a different blend of herbs and spices and are in a casing. A word of caution, if you have never cooked Irish sausages before, you need to poke the sausages with a fork to pierce the casing. If you fail to do so, the casing will split and bang (hence bangers!) and splash hot fat at you! They are totally worth it though, so go ahead and treat yourself!
