Although not Celtic in the purest sense, Thor’s Amulet is adorned with Celtic Swirls and Trinity Knots. There are a lot of similarities between Celtic and Scandinavian design elements, as there was a lot of interaction between their peoples.
The Vikings were known to have raided Ireland on more than one occasion. Later Irish Monks Christianized the Scandinavians.
Thor was the greatest of the Scandinavian Gods and while we now mostly associate him with war, he was also the god of the home.
This pendant is a replica of a silver pendant found in Sweden.
