Irish Sausages are different from American sausages. They have a different blend of herbs and spices and are in a casing. A word of caution, if you have never cooked Irish sausages before, you need to poke the sausages with a fork (or sharp knife) to pierce the casing. If you fail to do so, the casing will split and bang (hence bangers!) and splash hot fat at you! They are totally worth it though, so go ahead and treat yourself!
By the way, sometimes we have Tommy Moloneys Sausages, and sometimes we have Donnellys. I will happily eat either. Which is your favorite?
